Well, it's the dawn of Saff's first year on this earth, and what a year it's been.

Saff now has 6 teeth, weighs 18 pound 5, and can take about 6 steps by herself. She's one of the most confident 1 year olds I know, not bothered who she gets hugs and cuddles from (think there's a Nic influence there!!), and doesn't mind going off and playing by herself or with others.

I was thinking earlier, how many nappies i've changed in the past year (entries on a postcard to the usual address :D ), how many bottles she's had, etc.

To my darling daughter. You will never know how much you mean to me, and possibly one of the only things I've ever done right in my life, a very very happy birthday.

7:15am wake up time this morning, must have really tired her out yesterday.

The dadada noises she makes are getting louder and louder, and her confidence in standing up is growing more and more every day now. She actually made it crawling up a couple of steps on the stairs last night, so second stairgate time is here. I swear her smile is getting cuter and cuter too, just with those big wide eyes, she melts my heart and cheers me up straight away.

Another first today, they're really coming in thick and fast now. She's finally started crawling properly on all fours now, with her occasionally reverting back to the army commando style crawling method.

9:30 - Leave home to pick up Donna
10:00 - Arrive at Activity World childrens playland for FOUR hours of Saff playtime.
2:00pm - Extract Saffron from the depths of the plastic ball pit and head home.

9 months, and 1 day old.

Think it's only going to be a matter of a few months now before madam is walking by herself. She always wants to be on her feet at the moment.

No new firsts today, but plenty of day time sleeps. Yay :D

Ok, here we go:

9:30am - Pick up Fiona to take her into town for her counselling session.
10:00 till 11:30 - Playgroup
12:00 till 1:30 - Lunch Club
1:45 - 3:00 - Coffee afternoon and babyfood pickup
4:00 - Collapse in a tired heap on the floor. :)

9 months old, 9 months old.

Saff now weighs in at a cool 16 pound 10 ounces, and is doing soo much cool stuff.

She can now sit up by herself, she can stand up supporting herself, tunnel climbing is a specialty, and all this from a little bump who was no bigger than this 9 months ago today.

Both myself and Donna can't believe how much she's changed. Really don't think it'll be too long before she's walking by herself.

Going to try and take at least one picture a day from now on.
